West Jakarta Health Sub-agency Holds Swab Test in Jembatan Besi

West Jakarta Health Sub-agency holds swab test for residents at RW 07, Jembatan Besi, Tambora, on Thursday (5/14).

Swab test will be carried out for 100 residents to anticipate COVID-19 transmission

Tambora Sub-district Head, Bambang Sutarna explained, mass swab test is carried out because some of his residents are confirmed positive be COVID-19. Other residents are also proactive to be tested.

"Swab test will be carried out for 100 residents to anticipate COVID-19 transmission," he stated.

Second Swab Test Carried Out in Tidung Island Urban Village

For anticipation, his side also provides isolation location in Pekojan Sport Center (GOR).

"But we hope all residents can get negative result," he conveyed.

Tambora Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas) Head, Kristiani mentioned, there are three types of test series. First is swab test, second is antibody rapid test by taking blood sample from finger, and third is antigen rapid test. For the second and third tests will be processed on the location. While swab test will be sent to Labkesda and Clinical Microbiology Laboratory at Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (UI).

"We can get the result around a week," he mentioned.
